| Sweden & Martina - Premium implants |
| |
Premium® dental implants represent an extremely
versatile solution, suitable for solving any implant-prosthetic
solution. They offer two different morphological approach: cylindrical
and tapered respectively.
The operating procedures entails a double surgical stage, involving
burying the fixtures for the time necessary for osseointegration. However, excellent results have been obtained
also in cases of early and immediate loading. Both types of fixtures
are moreover suitable for post-extraction implant procedures. |

| THE CONNECTION OF
PREMIUM® IMPLANTS |
The two implant systems, though offering different body morphologies for different surgical options, have a common connection
thus facilitating prosthetic procedures. The connection is characterized by an internal hexagon, which guarantees anti-rotation of
the superstructure, engaging it to a depth of 2 mm. The small external collar above the neck lends maximum stability to the fixture-
overstructure interface and helps correctly distribute the occlusal forces, which are thus discharged along the entire implant
perimeter. Furthermore, it creates a stabilising connection for the post, able to reduce any meso-distal and vestibular-lingual movements
that could lead the post screws to unscrew and fracture. Essentially, the natural pivoting movement, always present when two perfectly
flat surfaces are put into contact, is limited. |

| PREMIUM® DENTAL IMPLANTS |
Fixtures are characterized by a cylindrical body and the previously
described internal hexagonal connection.
They are available in a wide range of diameters and lengths
and in both finishing: Nanopore and Trisurface. |

| MORPHOLOGY OF PREMIUM® IMPLANTS |
The thread, at the pitch of 1 mm, have a concave shape in
one direction and a convex one in another. This profile avoids
traumatizing the bone after application of load, thus creating
the conditions for a complete bone integration.
The apical incisions allow a self-tapping insertion of the implant,
offer three decompression areas for the clot, improve
the primary stability, increasing at the same time the non-rotation
of the implant during the screwing and the unscrewing
operations of the second surgical phase.
However a preventive tapping of the bone is always required
when the bone is highly compact. |
